Midnight SkiesGliding across the sky, It falls alone, Enrapturing every single eye.Midnight Skies
Showing us the path of its demise - The sweeping streak, Stared upon by lovers eyes.
A falling star, shoots across the skies, Its beauty finally apparent to all, Witnessed by those shallow eyes.
"How ironic!" scream the midnight flies, That for its life it went unnoticed, Unwatched by those tamed mens eyes.
At its final moments, as it dies, Suddenly they care, Gazing through their glittering eyes.
